Gigayacht Benetti

«Benetti's gigantomania season is open»- reads the description of this photo that appeared on the Italian shipyard's website. Pictured here is the largest superyachtever built by Benetti, the 107m FB277. The width of the yacht is 15,2 metres and its displacement at full load is 3300 tons. The boat was photographed being moved into the floating dry dock at the production facility in Livorno. The launch is scheduled for December 18, with handover to the owner in 2019. Over the next few months FB227 will apparently lose her honorary status as Benetti's largest: the yard intends to launch a total of three, as it calls them, gigayachts , each over 100 metres long.
