History of the company

The Chinese company Pride Mega Yachts, formerly known as Raffles Yachts and Yantai Raffles, was founded a quarter century ago. The shipyard has set itself the ambitious goal of building superyachts of 80-120 m in size, which is why it has a special position in the world market. It was very difficult to start with the stereotypes about products of Chinese origin. Additional difficulties were caused by the size of the enclosures, which placed special demands on the design. However, the manufacturer has involved well-known designers and designers in cooperation.

To this day on each vessel Pride Mega Yachts a truly international team of specialists works.

The Dutch Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design (interior design) and Azure Naval Architects (design) have already become permanent partners of the company. The fruits of hard work were not to be missed, with the Illusion (2015), a six-deck 88.5m yacht, the largest privately built yacht in China. In 2010, the company was taken over by China International Marine Containers, a major international corporation, and three years later the company's name was changed to its current name. Production

The company's headquarters are located in Hong Kong. Motor yachts are manufactured at a vast site in Yantai, Shandong Peninsula, on the Yellow Sea coast.
