About
Company history
Turkish shipyard Sarp Yachts was founded in 2009 by ETI Group. It manufactures superyachts in Antalya Free Economic Zone (FEZ) in the south of Turkey.
The shipyard attracts famous designers to design yachts and aims to produce yachts of the same quality as those produced by Northern European companies, but more affordable due to Turkish production.
The company pays maximum attention to the quality of its vessels: Sarp Yachts is ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 certified by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).
Status
The shipyard works and continues to develop new projects.
Manufacture .
In the FEZ of Antalya there is a production facility with an area of 10,000 sq.m. capable of handling both sailing and motor vessels up to 80 m long. Modern production allows using complex engineering solutions without sacrificing quality. 3D-modelling methods are actively used in designing
Fleet
Sarp Yachts has a calm, non-aggressive and timeless design that combines elements of loft and chalet style with natural, high quality wood to tint at the metal.
The company's catalogue includes motor and sailing yachts from 40 to 58 m in length. The very first project of the company was La Passion, a 46 m long superyacht. Sarp Yachts is planning to expand its catalogue and produce a large enough yacht (there is a project for 60 meters).
The company's model range includes a trawler-type vessel 30 m long.
Features
In Sarp Yachts, hull material is usually reliable and strong stainless steel, but for superstructures the company's engineers choose composite resins: they provide better temperature and sound insulation while reducing the weight of the vessel by 15-20% compared to all-steel construction.
The designers at Sarp Yachts are keen to create yachts that will stand the test of time and look as fresh as they did at the time of launch.
