Builder Oceanfast

The history of the company

Oceanfast was founded in Australia and was part of Austal Limited, which is famous for its military ships and boats for the commercial sector. The launch of Oceanfast enabled the group to try its hand at the semi-custom market for private customers.

The knowledge gained has helped the yard to create interesting projects. The company's boats have been a great success at home, in the United States and Asia. With the new yacht, the client had access to Austal's deployed infrastructure, which includes production facilities, representative offices and service centers around the world.

Status

After more than 20 years of Oceanfast's work, the production of superyachts was stopped.

Production

Boats for the private sector were built in a factory in Henderson on the west coast of Australia. The facility has two large assembly hulls, an office building with company headquarters, storage facilities and an equipped berth.

Fleet

Oceanfast's portfolio of aluminium and steel megayachts ranges from 36 to 70 metres in length. The boats are designed for long transatlantic crossings. One of the largest Nomad boats (formerly Aussie Rules and Floridian) can sail about 8,500 nautical miles without refueling.
