Lurssen Flying Fox

Flying Fox is the largest yacht available for charter, and also confidently enters the top 20 largest yachts on the planet, where it occupies the 14th position, and the top 10 most expensive according to itBoat. It is interesting that such a huge yacht is named after a small aquarium fish - a flying fox.

Interior and exterior design

Considering her huge size, she is surprisingly elegant and fast; the lines of all decks curve like a wave and the steel color of her hull accentuates her shape.

When a boat is this big, it can be difficult to give the interior a cosy and secluded feel. But in the case of Flying Fox the designers succeeded. For example, four-meter-high trees in tubs were planted to liven up the two-story lobbies.

Onboard comforts

Of course, you can't complain about the lack of space on board. There is so much space that the spa center alone occupies 400 square meters. And the relaxation zone occupies two levels.

«My favorite thing about Flying Fox is its two-level space»," interior designer Mark Berryman says.

«Arriving at the Flying Fox in the cockpit of one of the largest civilian helicopters? No problem - there are a couple of landing pads at once for these» birds.

Features

On this unique boat, everywhere you look, literally everything is different from what we may have seen before. For example, the 12-meter pool, «running» not along, but across the main deck.
