Lurssen Alaiya Overview
TIS is one of the protagonists of the 2018 yachting season. First she became the largest boat in the history of the Monaco Yacht Show, striking her size in the port of Hercule (the previous record belonged to Oceanco Jubilee), and then Superyachts Times put her at the top of its ranking of the brightest launches of the year. TIS is an acronym for the company, which is managed by the ship owner.
Exterior and Interior Design
In addition to her size, TIS has something else to distinguish herself from other megayachts in the 100m and up category. For example the blue hull and cream superstructure, and the long side line with a graceful curve that gives this hulking yacht an unexpected elegance and grace.
The interiors look like you are not on a yacht but in a palace. Lavish staircases, carved furniture, light marble, 23.8 carat gold textured inlays... The list of features of a royal mansion could go on and on.
Onboard facilities
There's plenty of space onboard for outdoor recreation and entertainment. You can enjoy time swimming in the 12-meter swimming pool, located on the aft upper deck, or in the spacious beach club, which is a part of the SPA with machines and massage room. A separate massage room, with a personal beauty salon next door, is available at the master suite.
In addition, especially after a water treatment, the tea room, inspired by the trendy Ladurée tea rooms, is a great place to relax.
There are two helicopter decks. One of them, when there is no need to take the helicopter, plays the role of a dance floor or an open-air cinema.
Features
TIS also serves as an excellent working residence. So, if necessary, the dining room turns into a meeting room: in the dining table there are sockets for gadgets and behind the big picture there is a TV screen for conference calls. If it is necessary to gather business partners in one spacious room, the partition between the dining room and the adjoining office and lounge is removed.
