At the weekend in Dusseldorf closed the largest pavilion yacht show in Europe - Boot Dusseldorf 2017.
This year, 1800 exhibitors from 60 countries exhibited their products in 17 halls with an area of over 200 thousand square meters. The leading shipyards have brought their latest innovations to Düsseldorf. Let us tell you about the most interesting of them.
Hallberg-Rassy 44
Hallberg-Rassy introduced the 44th model, which replaced the outdated 43rd. The 13.7 metre sailing yacht has been completely rebuilt. The old inefficient rudder arm pen was replaced by a modern double pen. The large bow overhang disappeared, allowing for longer waterline lengths. The width of the vessel was increased, the widest part was shifted closer to the stern for greater stability.
The design of the Hallberg-Rassy 44 has been developed by the studio German Frers. The boat has a folding transom that turns into a bathing platform and a built-in bowsprit to which a gennaker, code Zero, or anchor chain can be attached. All ends converge in the cockpit below deck; their excesses can be stored in a special locker built into the coamings.
The 44th model is slightly heavier than the 43rd (13.3 tons vs. 12.7 tons), but the difference in weight is less than the difference in ballast (5.3 tons and 4.5 tons), which proportionally makes the new model lighter than its predecessor.
The boat has two cabins - a generously sized aft cabin and a V-shaped forward cabin with separate bath.
Bavaria C57
The 16.5m Bavaria C57 is an important milestone in the history of the shipyard. Designed by Italian Cossutti Yacht Design, it features graceful hull lines, large sailing capacity (136 sqm) and the largest living space in the class - 88 sqm!
In the salon on the right side - living area, on the left - dining room. At the bow - galley, equipped with everything you need. There are three cabins in a standard layout below deck, each with its own bathroom. In the master stateroom there is a king-size bed and a separate shower room with double beds for two guests.
The lower deck can be redesigned to your liking, with the manufacturer offering a variety of options, from two large cabins to five modest sizes.
The outdoor recreation areas are three. In the cockpit, two sofas and two tables are transformed into large sun beds. Sunbathing space is also available on the roof of the superstructure and on the forendeck.
Fairline Squadron 53
Although the new Squadron 53 is based on the hull of the previous generation Fairline 53-foot model, the boat looks different from its predecessor. Renowned superyacht designer Alberto Mancini has designed the 16.9 metre Squadron 53 so that the spacious main deck has a flat floor from the cockpit to the control room. This solution has made the master suite much more spacious.
The lower deck of a luxury yacht has different layouts with three or four cabins and several bathrooms.
Princess V40
An improved version of the popular Princess V39, the V40 has the same body, swing-out loudspeaker and engines as its younger sister, but boasts an updated exterior and interior.
The biggest external change is the increased glazing area, putting the V40 in line with the older models in the Princess range of sports cruisers.
The interiors feature a new palette in discreet grey-white tones with accents in the form of bright fabrics from Ralph Lauren. The yacht's interior spaces include a spacious salon, a fully equipped kitchen and two generously sized cabins.
Hanse 675
The new Hanse 675 is the evolution of the successful model 575 in an attempt to expand the upper range of the shipyard. The 20.95-meter yacht is available in two versions - with a standard 3-meter T- keel and a short 2.6-meter keel.
As with the Hanse 575, the deck of the 675 is flat and has a sporty and elegant style. A large number of portholes, windows and skylights provide enough light and air on the lower deck.
Everything on deck is organized so that the boat can be easily operated by a small crew. A self-turnable fook and winches are located at the control station, from which all headboards and sails can be operated.
Sirena 64
Sirena 64 is the first of two models that marks a new direction for Sirena Yachts. Equipped with two CAT C12.9 850 hp each, the yacht can reach an impressive 27 knots.
The Sirena 64 has a spacious 38 sqm flybridge with a hardtop to protect from the sun. The roof can be folded to allow guests to enjoy the good weather.
Guest cabins are the most spacious in the category. In particular, the owner's suite spreads over 24 square meters, the largest master suite in this size on the market. The other two cabins also have their own bathrooms and an optional crew cabin is provided.
Dufour 63 Exclusive
The 18m Dufour 63 Exclusive is the first attempt by a French shipyard to enter the world of maxi yachts. She has a high-tech hull built from composite. The hull and deck bulkheads are fully laminated with sandwich technology, ensuring safety and good performance.
She is powered by a powerful Volvo Penta 230 hp engine, enabling her to cruise at 11 knots. The maxi yacht can be fully equipped according to the owner's requirements, with a choice between a mainsail twist mast, a V-shaped boom or a racing configuration.
Bavaria R40 Coupe
The world premiere of the Bavaria R40 Coupe follows the successful launch of the R40 flybridge version last year. Elegant on the outside, the R40 Coupe is also very functional. Its hardtop is electrically sliding and can be folded at the touch of a button in the cabin.
The interior of the boat is luxurious: below deck there are two spacious cabins with king-size double beds, each with its own bathroom with separate showers and porcelain sinks. The master stateroom is complemented by a sofa; a double guest cabin can be converted into twin beds and vice versa.
For easy mooring, the control room is equipped with a joystick.
Contest 67CS
Designed by Judel / Vrolijk Contest 67CS is designed for comfortable long-term cruises. With Contest's signature sleek deck and low wheelhouse with panoramic glazing, this elegant yacht has a powerful performance hull, the widest part of which is offset to the stern.
Soft cheekbones and flat underwater sections guarantee good shape stability and good wind travel, while the narrow bow helps to act effectively against the wind.
The boat is equipped with an automatic hydraulic sail control system. Deck equipment on board from Ronstan, winches from Lewmar.
Fountaine Pajot MY44
The long-awaited Fountaine Pajot Powerpack has a sporty appearance and plenty of room on board. The flybridge of this 13.4m catamaran has a sunbathing area, kitchen and terrace with sea views. It has a spacious living room and three cabins, each with its own bathroom and sea views.
The marine and stable hull of the MY44 has been designed with good speed performance in mind. The range of engines offered includes IPS engines from 350 to 600 hp.
