On December 15th, the shipyard Ruea Yachts there was an unpleasant incident in Bangkok. During the launch, the Fox, a 60-metre yacht from 1967, which had been fully refitted and rebuilt at the shipyard, tipped over on its side and partially sunk.
Attempts by the shipyard's workers to adjust the length of the ropes to prevent them from tipping have resulted in nothing. Further attempts to straighten the yacht using buoys have also been in vain.
An assessment of the damage and salvage of the yacht and the reasons for the accident are currently underway.
