All five premieres of the Ferretti Group plus one boat released last year were marked with statuettes in the form of a capital Y.

Ferretti 670: better layout from 62 to 80 feet.

Sophisticated layout is the first thing you pay attention to when you board this boat: sharp corners are rounded, uncomfortable thresholds and ledges on the ceiling are minimized, passageways are wide and it is convenient to go down the steps. The galley moved to the middel, and in the rear part of the salon there was a living area.

the full-beam master suite received a study separated from the main sleeping area by a staircase. So when you get to the master suite, first you see the work area, not the bed.

If you wish, you can donate an office by using this space to arrange a fourth guest cabin or laundry room.

The ceilings below deck are high enough to allow a grown man to walk without bending over. Even the smallest cabin with two single beds does not look too tight - Ferretti designers managed to leave a wide enough aisle in the middle. At the stern, a place for the crew cabin with a latrine has been created, but there is not much to go around there.

The Ferretti 670 has one of the largest flybridges in its size - 25 square meters - and a transformable bow lounge area, in which two tables can be lowered to the level of seats, forming large sunbeds.

The 3.5 metre tender is stored on a bathing platform equipped with an elevator. The yacht is equipped with an electro-hydraulic steering system from XENTA, which can be complemented by a joystick with proportional control of the bow thruster. An additional joystick is hidden in the side column of the superstructure for ease of mooring.

Riva 66' Ribelle: Best exterior design in the 62-80 ft category.

The Ferretti Group has long teased Riva fans with mysterious Ribelle teasers. In reality the overall silhouette of a 66-foot yacht has much in common with the Riva 76 Perseo - the same sloping transom lines, wings at the stern «and a» couple of stairs descending from the cockpit to the swim platform. Same large frameless windscreen, enlarged by a hatch in the ceiling.

Improvements have been made to the shape of the lower deck portholes: while the Perseo portholes are divided into two by the metal Riva logo, the glass runs continuously through the entire boat from bow to stern. The line on the Ribelle does not tear or «fall»apart to provide the best views from the salon: for this purpose, the boards have elegant glass inserts.

The appearance of Ribelle is very much in the heritage of Riva: lacquered mahogany inserts are used everywhere, and the waterline is the signature turquoise colour. These accents fit in well with the overall colour scheme of the ship whose hull is painted in deep blue. After admiring the Riva 66' Ribelle, one can forget for a moment that the boat is made of fiberglass.

Custom Line 120: Best exterior design in the 125-164 ft categories

The stylistics of the semi-displacement fiberglass hull of the 38.36-meter Custom Line 120 was designed by the great Francesco Paczkowski. It has a fast, powerful profile with geometric side lines. The hull design is inspired by the powerbots.

Some elements of the superstructure are made of durable and lightweight carbon. This made it possible to create a unique flybridge with access to the nose without the need to place in the cabin support props. The flybridge guaranteed a victory for Custom Line. Together with the forward resting area, it forms a huge 100 square metre Sundeck.Guests can move freely from the aft pool to the dining area under the hardtop, then through the wide side aisles on both sides to the sun loungers and through the central aisle between the sun loungers to the bow.

The innovation of the Custom Line 120 does not end there. The hydraulically operated glass door separating the cockpit from the saloon is tilted at a 45-degree angle and can not only be moved apart in the traditional way, but can also be completely removed to the roof of the superstructure. A floating floor is used in the salon, guaranteeing unobstructed sea views.

Custom Line Navetta 42: Innovation Award in the 125-164 ft categories.

Custom Line Navetta 42 is the first yacht in the history of the brand to exceed the 300 BRT limit.

«It was a difficult task to combine functionality and aesthetics on a yacht of this size, to make the most of the space, but the end result is fantastic," says the»Italian owner of the first Navetta 42 hull.

The layout of the yacht is designed so that the crew and guests do not cross paths, so that the yacht is comfortable not only to relax but also to maintain. The crew cabin on the lower deck accommodates six crew members. The captain's cabin is located on the main deck and has direct access to the bridge.

However, the layout can be customised to suit the owner: the shipyard promises a wide range of customisation options.

Pershing 9X: Best exterior design in the 80-125 ft category.

Long and sharp as a blade, the Pershing 9X has one big goal: to be fast but comfortable. It has a low profile and streamlined superstructure forms that guarantee good aerodynamics. At the same time, the spacious salon is designed in a strict, laconic, modern style.

«This is a huge yacht that pretends to be small»," said Alberto Galassi, CEO of the Ferretti Group, about the Pershing 9X, and was right.

Under deck, she has four cabins, including a spacious master suite on the midships, with a dressing room, study and couch by a huge, all-wall window.

Of course, I had to sacrifice something for speed and internal volume. For example, the side aisles: they are narrow and low on this yacht.

Riva 110' Dolcevita: Best interior design in the 80-125' category.

Aggressive on the outside, inside the Riva 110' Dolcevita is a luxury loft, open to the sea from all sides. The ceiling height in the cabin reaches 2.3 meters thanks to the large steel frames that support the superstructure and frame the huge windows. The windows can be opened from three sides by letting in the sea breeze.

There is a lot of glass on the yacht. A large piece of curved glass is used as a windscreen in the raised wheelhouse. It is particularly appreciated by captains and guarantees a perfect view from the bridge. Like the Custom Line 120, the flybridge has access to the bow to form a single upper deck of 34 square metres.

«Despite its sporty appearance, this project is inspired by the image of a comfortable floating villa. There are huge spaces with high ceilings, lots of glass walls and portholes providing amazing panoramas and lots of light. The interior is welcoming, elegant, with traditional Riva discreet luxury,"»says Officina Italiana Design, the studio that worked on the exterior and interior of the yacht.

On the lower deck, Dolcevita has four almost equal size guest cabins. The master cabin is located on the main deck. The finishes include leather, marble, glass and steel.

To sum up, the Ferretti Group is on the rise. This is evidenced not only by the company's impressive list of awards and its broadest presence at the Cannes show, but also by its sales volumes. As Alberto Galassi said, in September alone the group's brands received orders for more than 100 million euros - these are only direct purchase agreements with customers. Many of the contracts were concluded during the Cannes Yacht Festival. The company has ambitious plans for the next five years. Whether these plans will succeed will show the future.
