It's only a matter of days before the exhibition in Cannes, it's time to make a mandatory program and plan visits to the most interesting boards.

Today we are talking about interesting new engines from 10 to 45 meters long, which are waiting for their world debut at Cannes Yachting Festival.

10 meters: Merry Fisher 1095 Fly

the largest Merry Fisher with outboard engines now also with a flybridge. The flybridge is minus two hatches in the cabin, plus 500 extra kilos of weight, a second control post, two sun beds and a table for morning coffee with the best views of the water area.

Amazingly crowded, this 10-metre long weekend has three double cabins below deck and a convertible sofa in the saloon. If desired, a couple or three more people can be accommodated under the stars on the flybridge, especially if the passenger seat next to the captain's chair is placed.

12 meters: Sunseeker Hawk 38.

The latest model, designed by legendary Sunseeker founder Robert Braithwaite, and the first ever speedboat of a British shipyard in a long time, has driven up to 67 knots on base engines from Mercury Racing. This is the fastest Sunseeker in 20 years!

Included with the engines is also a sports «gearbox» of the same company. The Zero Effort lever shifts effortlessly, as its name suggests. The Trim button is conveniently placed under the thumb, which allows you to adjust the angle of the differential when going out for a smoothing and turning.

The Sunseeker Hawk 38 may seem like a professional racer's boat, but it's positioned as a day boat for anyone who loves speed (and is willing to give £642,000 for its love). And you can experience the miracle of engineering in a week in Cannes.

14 meters: Wally 48 Wallytender.

Probably no man indifferent to Wally boats. Motors or sailboats, the brainchild of Luca Bassani is always stylistically impeccable. But in early 2019 Wally fans were discouraged: Bassani sold his beloved brand...to the Ferretti Group conglomerate, which already included a dozen different shipyards.

Both the seller and the buyer solemnly swore that the deal will only benefit Wally, and the brand will remain true to its roots. At the Cannes show, we have the opportunity to test the validity of these promises: the first hull of the Wally in the Ferretti group - a 14.5 metre superyacht tender - will stand at the berths of the Old Port.

When visiting the 48 Wallytender it is worth paying attention to its folding bulwarks, which increase the area of the bathing platform, and the many lockers in the expected and unexpected places: under the sun beds and behind the wheelchair.

17 meters: DutchCraft DC56

Sitse Copmans, founder of the new DutchCraft brand, is better known as an experienced round-the-world sailor and «father» of Zeelander superyachts. As a man with a strong passion for yachting, Copmans knows exactly what is missing in today's mid-sized boat market - a strong all-rounder that can be used for literally anything.

The Dutch Craft DC 56 is both a family cruiser with eight people in four cabins, all twelve with extra berths in the cabin (ideal for charter), and a spacious tender for a large motherboat (speeds up to 40 knots with a draft of 0,75 meters), and a compact Explorer (power reserve of 750 miles in the «economic» version, in the standard version - also quite attractive 500), and even a support vessel, in which countless handcuffs fit a lot of equipment, and on the bathing platform will fit even a submarine U-Boat.

18 metres: Evo R6

The older sister of the hippie-built Evo R4, the 18-meter R6 will take up to 16 people on board during the daytime and up to six overnight. Naturally, it is also equipped with patented folding boards, which go sideways at the touch of a button, increasing the area of the sandbox by 40%.

On both sides of the large rear sun lounger there is a built-in safety collar that blocks the passage to the bathing platform - ideal for families with small children.

The boat is half-open; in addition to the two large sunbeds, it has a hardtop with a hatch to eat. Under deck there are up to three spacious cabins plus a combined salon with a galley.

the Evo R6 can go up to 280 miles at a decent 28 knots. The maximum is 38 knots.

20 metres: Van der Valk BeachClub 660 Flybridge.

This 20.5 meter boat is the first long-awaited model with a flybridge from the innovative BeachClub range of the Dutch shipyard Van der Valk. The innovation, however, is to move away from the traditional engine room and move the engines closer to the stern, to a niche under the bathing platform. The solution has made it possible to free up useful space for the organization of a truly unprecedented beach club in this dimensional segment.

The engines that have been treated in such a disrespectful manner are a pair of Volvo Penta D13 equipped with IPS-1050 counter-rotating bottom speakers. This is exactly the type of drive that the BeachClub series enclosures were designed for, so it has a respectable maximum of 30 knots. The boat has a sediment of 1.6 meters, which combined with a large number of outdoor areas makes it ideal for cruising somewhere in the Caribbean.

25 meters: Maiora 30

Maiora 30 is registered as a 24-meter boat, in fact it is 30.5 meters long and 7.5 meters wide, and in terms of internal volumes it can be compared to a 35-meter boat - this is such an interesting arithmetic.

In the end we have: four cabins (master on main deck), a spacious living room, a garage for a 4.2-metre tender and a sundeck with dining area for ten people, bar, Jacuzzi and a bunch of sun beds.

The captain's bridge is raised and all decks have the walk-around concept, which means that you can circle around them in convenient large passages.

37 metres: Canados 120 Caesar

The 37-metre Lady Elaine is the first Canados 120 and the shipyard's first major release since her purchase by Michel Carsenti. The boat was built for an experienced owner who had previously owned three Canados yachts, and he did not fail to make changes to the project. For example, he removed the tender garage from the stern to increase the beach club area. To store the 5-meter tender, a 1.5-ton cargo crane was installed on deck.

The interiors of Lady Elaine were designed by renowned Christiano Gatto, and he did not fail to take advantage of the yard's unique abilities: all the built-in furniture on board is handmade by Canados masters.

The salon boasts glass walls and the master stateroom boasts folding balconies.

45 meters: Mangusta GranSport 45

The newest Overmarine Mangusta GranSport series combines the brand's traditional 26-knot max sports hole with a less traditional transatlantic range (3500 miles). Last year the Monaco Yacht Show saw the flagship of the new range - the 54-meter El Leon. This year Overmarine will bring to Cannes the middle sister El Leon, 45-meter Project Capri (we will also find out what name the owner gave her).

A unique interior from Alberto Mancini, a special decor designed by the owner's wife, a beach club with three hinged sections, an overflow pool with a waterfall and a» Mangusta «chip - underwater «windows» in the floor through which the play of light through the water column is transmitted to the master suite - here is an incomplete list of reasons to visit this yacht.
