About Acico Yachts

History of the company

Dutch Yacht Builders was founded in 1995 in the small prosperous town of Enkheisen in the Netherlands. The shipyard was engaged in the construction of custom superyachts.

In 2009, the manufacturer's work on a 49-metre Nassima motor yacht for a Middle Eastern client started to experience financial difficulties. The future owner of the boat then bought out the shipyard, joined Acico Industries and renamed the company Acico Yachts.

From that moment on, a new history of the shipyard began. The Swiss naval architect Christian Bolinger, who had previously designed boats for Kaiserwerft and Icon Yachts, was invited to manage production and develop the new name. Under his leadership, the company quickly began to gain in popularity.

Status

No boats under the Acico Yachts brand are being built at the moment.

Production .

The shipyard's production facilities were located in Enkheisen, where about 60 specialists worked. Acico Yachts carried out the full cycle of work. Creation of new projects was carried out by own design office, the company itself processed metals and built hulls, carried out assembly works, made decorative elements, etc.

Fleet

The yard's portfolio includes motor superyachts from 22 to 50 meters in steel and aluminium for long journeys. Acico Yachts offered boats in a modern style, but there are also SUVs that are gaining popularity today.

Features

Production facilities, design department and office of Acico were located almost under the same roof, which facilitated efficient interaction between departments. Another advantage of the shipyard was the traditional Dutch quality.
