Company history

Timmerman Yachts brand appeared in 2005 as a result of Russian-Dutch consortium creation. The main participant was the Moscow Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Plant, which was founded in 1933.

Until 2005 the shipyard was engaged in the construction of tugboats and passenger motorboats, and the company also manufactured products for the defense industry. With Roman Trotsenko's coming to the management in 2000 it was decided to master a new direction - construction of private yachts by individual orders.

At that time there were almost no naval architects in Russia who could cope with such a task, so MSCO established a partnership with foreign world-renowned design bureaus.

Status

By 2014, under the program of renovation of industrial zones of Moscow, the enterprise was closed, and a residential complex is being built on its former territories. The remaining production facilities were moved to the Nobel«Brothers' Shipyard in Rybinsk.

Production

For yacht building the enterprise in Moscow has been modernized, the interior production has been created and the staff has been trained. In 2011 the shipyard has received the certificate of conformity of international standard ISO 9001:2008.

Fleet

Timmerman Yachts was engaged in construction of steel semi-castompartment yachts with aluminum superstructures from 26,5 to 46,5 meters in length. Among the superyachts there are boats capable of crossing transatlantic distances. Two Dutch studios have made an effort to create the models. Guido de Groot Design иVripack.

Timmerman Yachts used systems from world manufacturers in construction: such famous brands as Caterpillar, Quantum Med Marine, Heinen&Hopman, Imtech and others are among the shipyard's suppliers.
