Brand History
Evan K. Marshall found his love for the sea as a child when he sailed with his parents on family yachts. Already at that time he started painting his first boats. After graduating from college, the young specialist got a job at Sparkman & Stephens, where he worked for several years and gained experience. In 1993 Evan set up his own EKM studio, which has been successfully promoted in architecture and design in the real estate and marine sectors.
Philosophy
The cornerstone of EKM's design is the team's close cooperation with the client, which allows for the accurate realization of the proposed ideas and goals. Listening to the customers, respecting their requirements and wishes, the studio has established itself as the creator of individual design solutions.
Specialty
The company has made impressive strides in superyacht architecture and design. Evan's work can also be found in the automotive industry. The master is also respected in the construction segment, including his design of a residential complex in Moscow.
Cooperation with shipyards
The studio takes part in the design of custom and semi-custom yachts for Pearl, Ocean Alexander, Broward Marine, Horizon, Hatteras and others.
Landmark projects
Among the innovations from EKM is a three-level master cabin, realized on the boat Heesen Opus II in 1997. Also noteworthy is the 37-meter Ocean Alexander 120her exterior and interior was designed by Evan himself. The boat is also designed for charter and offers elegantly designed spacious cabins and extensive social areas. The model has been acclaimed by experts at many boat shows.
