Designer description VARO Interior Design

Brand History

VARO Interior Design was born from the talented designer Tonya Lance. After graduating, she joined Henry Brown Interiors and moved to Carol Williamson & Associates 3.5 years later, where she met the yachting industry. Here Tonya quickly rose from junior designer to project manager. By 2007, with an impressive experience, she decided to start her own company.

VARO Interior's work has been awarded by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the Fort Lauderdale International Show.

Philosophy

The team takes an individual approach to each project to create interiors that will live and be loved by their owners. Particular attention is paid to detail, quality, style, functionality and flexibility of the spaces. Here they are not afraid to challenge the established rules and offer a non-standard solution.

Specialty

VARO Interior Design works on the interior spaces of custom motor yachts, private residences and commercial facilities.

Cooperation with shipyards

The yachting direction is hardly a priority for the design studio. So far the team has established relations only with American Christensen, for which several projects have been implemented.

Landmark projects

Tonya has been working on Dennis & Judy Jones' last boat, the 50m D'Natalin IV. The team has also created interiors for Chasseur, which the World Superyachts Awards jury in 2017 named the best boat ever built at Christensen.

A small friendly team of experienced designers works in a studio in Kamas, Washington, and Tonya continues to be personally involved in each project.
