As one of the largest yachting exhibitions in the world, Cannes Yachting Festival annually offers its visitors an impressive fleet of tenders and pleasure boats. This anniversary year is no exception.

We present the 14 best small yachts from the Boat International Boat Show in Cannes.

1. Canados 428 Gladiator

Opens the list of day boat of the French shipyard Canados. 428 Gladiator was designed in collaboration with superyacht designer Marco Casali and built according to RINA class A certificate. 3. Frauscher 1414 Demon

Frauscher Shipyard in Austria is known for its fast and furious pleasure boats, and the 1414 Demon is an excellent example of this speedboat. The supercharged 2200 hp version of the boat arrived in Cannes with a «maximum» speed of 67 knots. So if you get a chance to test it on a boat show, don't hesitate.

4. Goldfish 29 Sport

The market leader in sports RIBs, the Norwegian shipyard Goldfish has brought to Cannes a model 29 Sport. This boat has a serious heritage: it combines the seaworthiness of Goldfish 29, which holds the record for the fastest single-engine RIB round the British Isles, with the luxury of the Norwegian Royal Tender, one of the most outstanding boats in the history of Goldfish.

5. Invictus 240CX

Designed by Christian Grande, the Invictus 240CX is a new 7.45-metre tender from an Italian shipyard with many premium features in such a modest hull. In particular, the boat is equipped with an outside shower and a foldable bimini top. The maximum power of the outboard engine, which can be delivered on 240CX, is 250 litres. С. With this engine, the boat can reach 38 knots. Its debut at the Cannes show was a world premiere for the Invictus 240CX.

6. Mazu 38 Soft Top

Turkish shipyard Mazu first entered the world scene during the Cannes show in 2016, where she brought the Mazu 38. This year the young shipyard is presenting a soft-top version of this model in Cannes. Built on the same 11.9 m platform, this boat was handed over to the owner in July in Saint-Tropez. It was customised to meet the owner's passion for Armani style. The top speed of 34 knots is achieved with two Volvo Penta IPS 400.

7. Pirelli 1900.

Tecnorib and the Pirelli design team have created a tender that combines the design features of the yacht with the sporty character of RIBA. The 18.5 metre Pirelli 1900 is the new flagship of the Tecnorib range. She boasts a 2,000 litre fuel tank and two MAN i6 engines that deliver an impressive 45 knots at 30 knots cruising speed. Large sun loungers are available at the front and rear. The inflatable sides of the Pirelli 1900 are decorated with a tread pattern of the famous Pirelli rain tyres for track racing.

8. Sacs Rebel 47

Another elegant sports boat from Christian Grande DesignWorks' tablet studio, the Sacs Rebel 47 attracts many admiring views at this year's Cannes show. Built according to EC Category B regulations, this 14.2 metre RIB can carry up to 16 people to shore in no time thanks to a pair of 400 hp Volvo Penta D6.

9. Ridoc .

The new flagship of the MV19 line of day boats of the respected Italian shipyard Baglietto Ridoc is inspired by military vessels. Launched in June, this 19.5m all-aluminium cruiser was built for a European design client Francesco Paczkowski. The interior was designed by Margherita Casprini. She used Canaletto walnut solid wood for the decoration to convey the romance of retro style.

10. Rivale

For the famous Italian dayboat brand Riva this year was a difficult one: in April Carlo Riva, the creator «of the golden age» Riva, passed away. But his legacy is alive, and the new Rivale confirms it. The stylistics of this 17-metre pocket-sized superyacht with polished mahogany panels and upholstered furniture by Ivano Redaelli and Van Besouw were developed internally by Officina Italiana Design.

11. Silver Arrows 460GT.

A plethora of major names from the superyacht world have worked on this 14.2 metre project, from Martin Francis to Tommaso Spadolini and naval architects Van Oossanen. The stylistics of this beautiful silver speedboat have been designed by Mercedes-Benz and are clearly not to be confused with the 630 hulls on display in Cannes this year. The Finnish shipyard Baltic Yachts recently announced the launch of the Silver Arrows 460GT.

12. Van Dutch 55

Popular on both sides of the Atlantic, the 16.48-meter Van Dutch 55 is one of the most popular models produced by the Dutch shipyard. The naval architects from Frank Mulder's bureau have designed the hull of the Van Dutch 55 so that it can reach 37 knots on two 900 hp Volvoes.

13. Wajer 38

Another Dutch shipyard hoping to impress visitors to the Cannes Yachting Festival is the Wajer Yachts, which has brought in an 11.3 metre Wajer 38 with its attractive rounded forms. Developed in collaboration with naval architects at Vripack, this speedboat, capable of speeds up to 45 knots, has amazed spectators since 2013, when it was first introduced.

14. Zeelander 55

The 16.55-meter Zeelander 55 is celebrating its European debut in Cannes. Her classic exterior lines come from under the pencil of the Dutch superyacht designer Cor D Rover. The well-planned, fully enclosed wheelhouse of the Zeelander 55 can accommodate up to 10 people for lunch and the Seakeeper stabilization system will ensure that none of them spoil their costume with a drink. The décor on board can be customised, for which Zeelander has invited Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design.
