A training sailboat – one of the Tall Ships Race participants – approaches the port of Liverpool near the Burbo Bank wind farm in the UK.

In the foreground is not a yearning sailor’s wife, but a 650-kilogramcast-iron statue with all the hallmarks of a man. It is one of a hundred figures that make up the modern art masterpiece called «Another Place» by Antony Gormley. The statues are arranged along a stretch of beach for three kilometres.
