The first round of the season Extreme Sailing Series was completed in Singapore. The Red Bull Sailing Team was the winner of the races held from September 5 to 8. Second place went to SAP Extreme Sailing Team, and third place to The Wave, Muscat.
Fourth place was won by the team competing under the Russian flag – Gazprom Team Russia.
The next round of the regatta will be held in Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman
, from March 11 to 14.This year there are 9 teams racing in the competition: among unnamed participants there are Oman Air, GAC Pindar, Lino Sonego Team Italia, Beko Team Turx and Team Aberdeen
