itBoat relaunched in March with a sharper focus: make yacht information clear, structured, and trustworthy. The site started in 2010 to demystify yachting, and this update adapts that goal for how people actually research boats online today.
Yacht information online is everywhere—and often contradictory. itBoat pulls together verified data, consistent classifications, and model pages that let you explore and compare designs in detail. Each page follows the same format, laying out specs, layouts, and performance without favoring one builder over another. You can compare across brands and boat types without guessing what the numbers mean.
The platform draws on a network of brokers, captains, naval architects, designers, surveyors, and legal specialists worldwide. With the relaunch, you can now see who these people are and what they actually do, which makes it easier to go from browsing to taking action.
This release is still in beta, with updates rolling out. The next major addition will be the itBoat marketplace—detailed listings for yachts available to buy, matched thoughtfully to different types of buyers.
