"Hermes" is a beautiful Italian Azimut 40S sports cruiser. With her sharp hull, sleek lines and twin 480 Hp Cummins diesel engines, she will cruise easily at 25-30 knots. She has a joystick system to control engines and the bow thruster for easy maneuvering at low speeds, and you can even open the retractable roof for extra visibility. A drop-down swim platform, tender and outboard make it great for cruising. She is truly an elegant vessel, with an angled bow that stands out among the newest vessels. The entertaining space is on one level, with a large cockpit settee that faces inwards, facing a large L-shaped settee inside. You can open the salon doors wide and host get-togethers easily. The salon table has leaves and can be put outside for dining "al fresco". There is a full dining set made for Azimut, and each cup, glass, plate and fork has their own storage. Up a few steps is a settee for two with the very practical helm station; There is a nice view that can be made even better by opening the roof and sticking your head out for docking. The helm has modern Raymarine electronics, a separate engine computer, high-end Vesper VHF with AIS, and autopilot. Down from the salon is a unique galley that reflects the great taste for design Italians have. It's a mix of stainless and brushed steel, accented by a dark, rich, walnut finish for the furniture. Everything is well hidden, from the standing fridge to the microwave oven that slides out. The primary and secondary cabins are each matched with their own larger heads (The secondary head has two doors, one for day access and one from the secondary cabin). The primary cabin is forward, with a large island berth, and good storage. The secondary cabin has split bunks (A new owner could easily have a filler section made to join the two). That cabin has a unique large square window that gives you a great spot to read a book while you enjoy the views of the water. Come visit Hermes, she stands out among a sea of much more standard sport cruisers. Main Features: Beautiful silver-metallic hull color really stands out.
