Step aboard this beautifully designed 1999 Bénéteau Oceanis 40 CC and discover a true bluewater cruiser built for adventure, comfort, and life at sea. Designed by the legendary Groupe Finot, the Oceanis 40 CC has earned an outstanding reputation among cruising sailors for its safe centre-cockpit layout, effortless short-handed sailing, and remarkably spacious liveaboard interior.
Whether you are planning coastal cruising, extended offshore passages, or simply dreaming of a floating home in paradise, this yacht delivers comfort and capability in equal measure.
The moment you step below deck, the sense of space is impressive. A bright and airy saloon with excellent headroom creates a welcoming atmosphere, featuring a large U-shaped seating area and expandable dining table perfect for entertaining family and friends. Rich woodwork, abundant natural light, and practical design throughout make this yacht feel far larger than her size suggests.
A standout feature is the luxurious full-beam owner’s cabin aft — a private retreat offering a generous walkaround berth, extensive storage, and a spacious en-suite bathroom with separate shower. Forward, guests enjoy their own comfortable double cabin complete with seating, wardrobe storage, and private access to a second head and shower.
The well-equipped linear galley is designed for serious cruising, with plentiful workspace and storage for extended time aboard, whether at anchor in secluded bays or crossing oceans.
On deck, the secure teak centre cockpit offers comfortable U-shaped seating with excellent protection and visibility under sail. The sugar-scoop stern provides effortless access to the water via the integrated swim platform and ladder — perfect for swimming, diving, or stepping aboard from the dinghy. A substantial stainless dinghy davit system carries solar panels overhead while also storing two outboard engines (4hp and 15hp), adding practicality and self-sufficiency for life afloat.
Sail handling is refreshingly simple thanks to in-mast furling for the mainsail and roller furling genoa, allowing easy management by a couple or even solo sailors. Powered by a dependable 54hp Yanmar diesel engine with superb access for maintenance, this Oceanis is ready for her next adventure.
Comfortable, capable, and beautifully designed, this Bénéteau Oceanis 40 CC is more than just a yacht — it is an invitation to explore further, stay longer, and truly enjoy the cruising lifestyle.
