2012 Domestic Boat of the Year and Best Midsize Cruiser by Cruising World Magazine. With the Sun Odyssey 379, designer Marc Lombard created a boat that "sails exceedingly well with a smart, functional layout." Its chined hull design, dual helms/rudders, and spacious cockpit, make the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 379 both comfortable and fun to sail. Highlights of the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 379 include a retractable swim platform, main and jib sheeting near both helms for ease of trimming, comfortable main saloon with extra bunk in the settee, and large head with separate shower. Tharos is a well equipped version of the Sun Odyssey 379. Her shoal draft, new North Sails, in mast furling main and furling genoa, centered chartplotter on a swivel, and full dodger/bimini/connector make her a pleasure on both day sails and longer cruises.
