This vessel has the rare, factory-original configuration of twin SEATEK 6-4V-9 600 HP diesel engines with Arneson Surface Drive ASD10 units, for a top speed of approximately 48 knots. Both main engines were replaced with new units in 2022 and have only approximately 30 running hours. She is stored ashore and carefully maintained, with the engines flushed with fresh water after every outing.
