The Azimut Magellano 30 Metri is the largest model in the Magellano range, designed by Ken Freivokh and featuring a semi-planing Jewell mould hull for a top speed of 25 knots. This yacht offers five cabins and numerous innovative features.
On Deck
The innovation starts at the stern with a tender garage and a bathing platform. The large transom panel drops down to create an extended platform, housing a Williams tender and a jetski. The cockpit is designed for lounging, with no dining table, as dining is reserved for the flybridge. An automatic shade provides additional privacy and protection. The floating slats along the sides add a touch of elegance and functionality. Symmetrical decks lead to the foredeck, which features beautiful stainless steel details and functional wing stations for easy maneuvering.
Interior
The interior is accessed through electric sliding doors, revealing a bright and spacious saloon with half-height furniture to maximize views. The saloon is divided into lounging and dining areas, with cleverly hidden storage behind panels. The galley, equipped with large fridges, an oven, and ample counter space, connects directly to the crew area. The owner’s cabin, located forward on the main deck, boasts large windows, a floating bureau, and a luxurious ensuite with twin sinks and a spacious shower.
Accommodation
The lower deck houses four guest cabins, including flexible twins that can convert to doubles. The VIP cabin features a large bed, ample storage, and a private bathroom. The guest cabins are spacious and well-lit, offering a comfortable stay for all on board.
Top Deck and Performance
The top deck is a highlight, featuring a large sunbathing area, a well-equipped bar, and a 12-person dining table. The upper deck saloon is a cozy space for relaxing, with a TV and stunning views. The helm station on this deck offers triple Simrad MFDs, full digital switching, and optional joystick control. The yacht is powered by twin 1900 horsepower engines, reaching a top speed of 25 knots and cruising efficiently at 17-18 knots.
Engine Room
The engine room is accessed via deck hatches in the cockpit. It houses the twin V12 1900 horsepower MAN engines, fin stabilizers, and two large generators. A 130-kilowatt-hour battery bank allows for quiet, generator-free operation overnight or for four hours during the day.
The Azimut Magellano 30 Metri sets a new standard for luxury and innovation in the 30-meter yacht category. Its blend of performance, comfort, and cutting-edge design makes it a standout choice for discerning yacht enthusiasts.
