The Azimut Magellano 60 is the latest and smallest addition to the Magellano range, designed by superyacht designer Ken Freivokh. This boat features a voluminous interior and a semi-planing dual-mode hull, perfect for handling challenging sea conditions.
Performance
Equipped with MAN I6 730 horsepower engines, the Magellano 60 offers a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising range of approximately 350 nautical miles at 15 knots. The semi-planing hull ensures efficient cruising at speeds between 18 and 24 knots. Steering is responsive, and the boat changes direction with ease.
Design and Features
The aft deck includes a hydraulic bathing platform with a 500-kilogram capacity, ideal for a tender. The cockpit layout, with a centerline table and end seats, creates a social space enhanced by a glass transom. Wide side decks and sturdy railings ensure safe passage, while the foredeck offers versatile seating arrangements and substantial deck gear.
Interior and Accommodation
The aft galley features ample counter space, storage, and high-end appliances. The saloon offers floor-to-ceiling windows, a convertible dining table, and dedicated crockery storage. The lower deck includes a spacious VIP cabin, a twin cabin, and a luxurious full-beam owner's suite with high-quality finishes and en-suite bathrooms. The crew cabin, accessed through a transom hatch, includes a single berth, bathroom, and storage.
