The Prestige F4, a new model for the 2023 season, marks the beginning of a new generation in the F line, bringing numerous innovative solutions in habitability and design.
Design and Layout
The F4 is wider than any other 15-meter boat, with a beam of 4.5 meters. The height of the bulwarks is well concealed by sleek lines, windows, and freezers. The bow is designed to handle waves effectively, and the flybridge, surrounded by rails, feels open and light without a traditional fiberglass gun rail.
The layout includes a classic arrangement with a living room, dining table, helm station, and a versatile area that can be customized. The deck is wide, offering ample room for maneuvering, and the sundeck can be shaded by a canopy. Natural light enters through three openings for the owner's cabin.
The swimming platform is submersible, with a practical technical locker in the counter transom. The engineering and design are by Camilo Garone and the shipyard's team, ensuring innovative and practical solutions throughout.
Interior Features
Inside, sofas are arranged longitudinally to maximize the view, though an L-shape configuration is available. The table can rise and fall, converting into a sunbed. The living area offers comfortable seating with sea views, participation in navigation, or TV watching.
The owner's cabin is forward, away from engine noise and heat, featuring a low bed, corner entrance, wardrobe, sofa with console, and an ensuite bathroom with double sinks. Guest accommodations include a cabin with two convertible beds and another with two bunks, both sharing a bathroom.
A functional area provides a washing machine, vacuum cleaner, and service cabinet, ensuring all practical needs are met.
Performance and Technology
Equipped with two Volvo Penta D6 engines, each with 480 horsepower, the F4 utilizes a pod drive IPS system and a maneuvering joystick. The boat's high construction (5.34 meters) can be outfitted with a hardtop, increasing height to 7.17 meters, making technological assistance essential for handling.
At a cruising speed of 20 knots, the F4 maintains a quiet, stable ride with minimal fuel consumption. Even at higher speeds, it remains responsive and easy to navigate, demonstrating great directionality and stability.
The Prestige F4 is designed for family use, offering ease and pleasure in piloting along with ample internal and external habitability, making it a versatile and enjoyable yacht for various boating needs.
