Discovery 55 is already an old man on the market, but still enjoys a lot of popularity. There is not much original in the yacht - as the shipyard staff themselves admit, "we studied the Contest yachts thoroughly and then tried to improve them a little. The British are not sneaky, and it is ridiculous for them to do so: the fact that Discovery 55 and Contest 55CS (already out of production) look like twin brothers is clear at first sight, even to the uninitiated. But there are some differences - for example, Discovery 55 has a much deeper and more protected cockpit, you can feel safe in the strongest storm. However, there is also the reverse side: the cockpit is obviously tight, and getting out of the steering wheel is a problem.
