The CR 380 DS is characterized as one of the most stable boats in its class, despite its very moderate draft of 172 centimetres (there is also a version with a lifting keel that allows you to run aground for drying or approaching a bank). Her internal layout is unusual - she has a relatively small salon and only two cabins (but very spacious!). This has freed up free space for all sorts of containers and lockers for storing things and supplies, as well as increased the size of cloakroom chutes. Some layout options allow the galley to be moved into a separate compartment, as on very large yachts, a trend that is becoming more and more fashionable and among relatively small (but expensive!) boats.
The boat is not distinguished by particularly high sailing qualities, yes it is usually not required from vessels with the architecture of the raised salon. But the comfort and comfort on this yacht is one of the highest in the 38-foot class.
