Debuted at the 2012 Cannes Boat Show, the Ferretti 690 is the flagship yacht in the shipyard's 70ft category. And as a flagship, while maintaining the overall concept of layout and appearance, the yacht has a number of significant differences from her smaller brothers.
In appearance, a graceful aperture in the bulwark is striking - this is done to maximise the view of the sea panorama from the interior of the yacht. The interior is similar in layout to the younger models, but the aft galley has become a real kitchen separated by bulkheads. If necessary, it can be completely isolated. But the signature bar-compartment with cockpit window has been preserved.
The master stateroom is separated from the constantly rumbling engine room not only by a bathroom and wardrobe - they are located behind the wall by the headboard of a huge bed - but also by a skipper's cockpit, which is standard here.
When ordering a yacht it is possible to choose a layout with two VIP cabins or one such cabin in the bow and two guest cabins, each of which is equipped with a pair of separate beds. The VIP cabins naturally have their own bathrooms. However, there is only one for two regular guest cabins.
