The updated Princess 54, with a new number 56, has only grown by 120 cm in length, but in terms of living space this flybridge yacht is close to the 60ft class. All cabins allow for full height standing and the new panoramic windows in extra strong glass distinguish the owner's suite, which occupies the full width of the hull on the midships.
The only thing that hasn't changed in Princess 56 since the restyling is the driving characteristics: 800hp engines accelerate Barnard Olesinski's keeled hull to an impressive 34 knots in seconds, while the captain only has to enjoy the minimal differential and excellent handling behind the clever steering console.
