Despite the relatively small size of the entry model in the Almtrawler range - 13 metres long and 4.5 metres wide - we should not forget that this is the Dutch motor yacht De Alm, which means she is spacious and comfortable enough for long journeys. To maximise space, De Alm's designers have minimised the use of zoning on both indoor and outdoor decks, with relatively few steps, gangways or levels.
The Almtrawler 1200 AD motor yacht does not have a saloon on the main deck, but boasts a covered cockpit and an additional cabin under control.
Traditionally for the harshest trawlers, the hull and superstructure of the Almtrawler 1200 AD are made of steel and the interiors are finished in teak, mahogany, cherry or ash. The designers have paid particular attention to noise insulation on board and to the smoothing of sharp corners - yet the yacht is of the trawler type. As standard, the Almtrawler 1200 AD has three cabins on the lower deck and three cabins on the upper deck for the galley and dining area. The layout may vary according to the owner's wishes.
