The HR 342, which appeared in the mid-2000s, quickly became a bestseller - numerous customers were attracted by the yacht's good performance, excellent handling, comfortable interior and relatively low price (for Hallberg-Rassy, of course!). The weight of the measures was taken by the designer to increase the stability of the yacht and to reduce the moment of longitudinal inertia to reduce the swing size.
The designer, widely known for his superyachts as well as his work on the Nautor Swan, paid special attention to the interior and comfort. The interior has turned out to be classically looking, but at the same time rather light. Its interior volumes are quite suitable for long-distance voyages.
