The Platu25 monotype class (IPCA) was recognized by the International Sailing Federation (ISAF) in 2005. The small keel light boat was designed by Farr Yacht Design and can be used for daytime indoor races, club competitions or training of beginners - both professionals and amateurs. Many competitions are held in this class, including country and European and world championships.
Yacht management is simple and straightforward. Thanks to the laconic layout of the cockpit, any team can work as efficiently as possible, regardless of the experience of its members. The configuration of the sails and rigging ensures optimal speed performance in aviating and easy gliding on the sailing courses. The large spinnaker on the long boom requires attention and careful work.
The crew of Beneteau 25 Platu is 5 people. There are clubs in Russia, where the number of Platu25 fleet exceeds 10 units.
