The main feature of this high-speed sports boat is the unusual layout for boats of this type. Unlike the basic version of the 28 Cabin, the central part of the deck in the aft cockpit has been raised to the bulwark level so that a micro cabin with a double bed can be accommodated below.
The outboard engine and the spacious forward cockpit with table and seats make it possible to sacrifice a place at the stern where only a large sunbed is located. However, four people can stay on the boat at night: two more bunks are assembled from the transformable seats in an enclosed wheelhouse, just like the 28 Cabin version.
For added comfort, a compact enclosed space with a marine toilet is provided at the front of the cabin. A similar layout in this size is very rare and may be of interest to families travelling with children. The hull is equipped with transverse edanes which improve maneuverability at high speeds. In good weather, the Axopar 28 can be turned into an almost open boat by opening the side doors and a wide soft-material hatch in the superstructure roof.
