The newest Ferretti 650 New demonstrates the direction in which the external design of the entire range of yachts in the "up to 70 feet" category will change. The vessel is the result of the joint efforts of many companies, including the Product Strategy Committee, Ferretti Group's Marketing Department, AYT&D - Advanced Yachts Technology & Design and Studio Zuccon International Project.
The streamlined shape of the flybridge and the bold sketch of black glazing on a rapid silhouette give the appearance a certain understatement and excite the desire to see how these fractures of graceful curves will harmonize with the sea ripples at full speed.
And speed at novelty quite worthy. On this model the shipyard has returned to installation of engines Caterpillar. With two CAT C18 engines, the 1015 hp yacht can reach a maximum speed of 30.5 knots. As an option, 1150 hp engines are available, which allow to maintain a cruising speed of 30 knots and reach a maximum speed of 33 knots.
The overall layout has not changed much compared to the previous model. But there are some significant innovations. For example, there is a large garage with a three meter tender, which is rare even for larger yachts, and a large dining area in the cockpit. Aft of the saloon is the traditional Ferretti galley with a bar aft section, but in the Asia Pacific version it has been launched on the lower deck.
