The premiere of this boat caused a furore at the yacht shows. The Chris-Craft 38 Launch is in the same line as the bowriders, but it can no longer be called that. Launch 38 is a compact full cabin yacht, something borrowed from bowriders and quite unusual in its layout.
It is difficult to find a more practical and versatile cruiser than this boat. The bow deck of Launch 38 is somewhat "recessed" so that it is possible to be on the sun beds even when the boat is flying at high speed.
A galley with fridge, grill, microwave, sink and icemaker is hidden in the central part of the cockpit. Forward is the control post with a sofa for three. The rear of the cockpit is occupied by two corner sofas, which together with the folding table turn into a dining room.
The level below is a cozy living area with berths for five - 2 double beds and one single. The bathroom is also large enough for a yacht of this size.
Launch 38 is rich in standard equipment, but the list of options is also impressive. Owner's choice of engines, joystick, underwater lighting and selective exhaust system.
