Exterior and interior design
A year after the launch of the popular 305 Coupe, Swedish manufacturer Nimbus presented the new open cruising yacht 305 DROPHEAD. The same hull was used as the basis, but the manufacturer did not just «cut» the roof, but worked on improving the exterior of the yacht. As a result, the glazing lines took on a more sporty appearance and the hardtop was replaced by a folding tent. Sun and seawater resistant acrylic textiles were used for upholstery of the furniture. The cabins are decorated with mahogany and materials in light Scandinavian tones or classic blue.
Comfort on board
The deck has everything you need for a pleasant stay - the fore has a sunbathing area, the aft has a terrace with table and bathing platform, the cockpit has a galley with fridge and dining area. At the bottom there are two double rooms and a bathroom. The master cabin occupies the fore part and is additionally equipped with a wardrobe. Two extra beds can be arranged in the dining area by transforming the table into a bed«.
Features
When designing the hull Nimbus designers used Smart Speed technology, which allows the boat to reduce fuel consumption at speeds from 0 to 22 knots. The 305 DROPHEAD is available with Volvo Penta D3 diesel engines or with Torqeedo electric propulsion systems. The model attracts economy and reliability, it is quite possible to spend all day at sea or go on a cruise at the weekend.
Swimming area
The yacht can accommodate up to eight people and is suitable for sea voyages.
