Exterior and interior design
Following the 46 Open Bavaria has launched the new Nautitech 46 Fly, which is the first sailing catamaran in the range with a full flybridge. On the whole, the model turned out to be more successful even despite the weight gain: the control post upstairs provides a good view, without the need to use cameras when mooring. Otherwise the boat has not undergone significant changes and even kept two roof hatches.
Amenities on board
At first glance, the aft cockpit appears to be a little more compact than its «classmates», but it is nevertheless easy for the whole crew to gather here to eat or socialize. The cockpit does not have a dining area in the basic configuration, but simply has an L-shaped sofa, so inside is quite spacious. If desired, it is possible to install a coffee table in the cabin.
Features
The boat is more designed for owners with little experience or those who just like to ride without bothering with the sails. The basic set includes an automatic staysail.
Sailing area
The Nautitech 46 Fly has been certified for ocean access. With a fuel reserve of 600 litres, the boat gets good autonomy (for generators and engines). Of course, you can't go far on engines alone, but it's not a motor-sailer after all.
