Exterior and interior design
In the summer of 2017 the Italian Riva presented at her shipyard in Sarnico a new open cruising yacht 56' Rivale. The boat was created in collaboration with a long time partner - Officina Italiana Design. It harmoniously combines a sporty shape with some kind of officiality. The light interiors are diluted with dark lacquered wood, which brings comfort to the interior. At the same time the extensive glazing on the lower deck adds to their lightness.
Comfort on board
The main deck of the boat is set aside for outdoor recreation. There are two lounges, a dining room, a small kitchenette with bar and a bathing platform that descends directly into the water. From the stern there is also access to a tender garage that can accommodate the 3.25m Williams RIB. On the lower deck there are two double guest cabins and one crew cabin. It is possible to replace the latter with another one for guests.
Features
The Riva 56' Rivale has one of the largest cockpits in its class, measuring 21 square metres, surpassing even the 63-foot Virtus. A rocking stabilizer can also be installed on the boat for more comfortable cruising. This model also has the advantage of having a foldable bimini top in its basic configuration.
Swimming area
In terms of seaworthiness, the boat is certified to go out to sea and at cruising 28 knots it can travel up to 210 nautical miles.
