Exterior and Interior Design
The project was worked on by proven partners familiar with the philosophy of the shipyard. The hull from VPLP and the rest were created by Patrick le Quément, ex-Ford and Renault, and Christophe Chedal Anglay, who worked on previous models of the shipyard.
Rapid lines provide a sporty outlook for the boat: dinghies, cockpit gypsum wiring, aerodynamic sunroof, circular glazing for the helmsman's view. The mast is shifted deeper to the stern, the tilt-down stems provide better ride in the wave.
The 20.75m long hull weighs only 17.8 tonnes, and a number of designs have been used to achieve these figures.
Amenities on board
The Gunboat 68 can be 4, 5 or even 6 cabins, with all Ensuite cabins. Particular attention is paid to the two master cabins, where the beds are located across the hull's DP, with panoramic windows. Unlike cruisers, there is a helmsman's post in the centre of the saloon and a navigating table nearby. Guests can admire the boat from the front dining area.
There are many options to choose from: interior trim, lighting, fabrics, interior and aft seating. Not to mention sailing weapons and rank options.
