Among Selene's range of Taiwanese yachts, the 103 Ocean Explorer stands out for its Nordic style, to which she owes her name to Guido de Groot Design. The boat has found smooth, powerful exterior lines and Dutch practicality in interior spaces. The model also received an elevated wheelhouse and a Portuguese bridge with a through passage from side to side.
Amenities on board
On a cozy sundeck you can fully enjoy the trip, it has two loungers, a spacious sunbed and a sofa. The upper deck has a terrace with a table and a sofa, behind which there is a control station. The main deck is occupied by common areas, while the fore deck has an owner's cabin.
The lower level is reserved for guests' cabins with separate bathrooms and crew quarters.
Features
Usually boats of this class are built in steel or aluminum, but the Selene 103 Ocean Explorer has a fiberglass hull. This has reduced the weight of the structures and made the boat more economical. The unrefuelled model is able to travel transatlantic distances at cruising speeds.
