Exterior and interior design.
The hull of the yacht has a modern shape with a wide stern, thanks to which the volume of the cockpit and the interior is significant. The project was created by the British architect Stephen Jones, who is also creating boats for the Oyster shipyard. The interior is in light tones and practical.
Amenities on board
Two double cabins, a large salon with galley and bathroom will provide normal conditions for 5-6 people, but the optimal crew for such a boat is probably 3-4 people. A full navigating table with a dashboard will delight even a very demanding skipper.
Features
Thanks to the swivel keel, the draft of the yacht can be reduced to 0.83m, which makes it possible to enter shallow bays or inland waters. Like other boats of this brand, the Southerly 330 can sit «on the» bottom, for example in the low tide area. When the keel is lowered in the open water, the yacht provides good stability, while the draft increases to 2.3m. The presence of an automatic staysail will be a good aid for double or single cruises. Thanks to the two nibs on the rudder, the yacht holds its course perfectly.
Swimming area
The Southerly 330 is certified for offshore and ocean voyages, but for a truly comfortable round-the-world experience it's still a bit small.
