Interior and exterior

Designed by Stephen Jones in 2007, the 38th in reincarnation got 0 to the «number» of length. This means that the yacht has a lifting keel (zero draft). The interior layout is similar to that of the«older sisters, with» the difference that there is one latrine and no front windows in the décor.

Comfort provides a boat width of 3.9 m from middel to stern. This allows you to form the most comfortable in this length aft cabin and a decent cabin in the bow. The spacious salon creates a deceptive impression of a boat of large dimensions. There is a full galley, a navigating table and large sofas.

Amenities on board

This yacht is for a couple with children or two couples and will serve as a good weekend. The shipyard does not offer much opportunity for redevelopment. Separate sun loungers in the forward cabin, a choice of salon and hull colours, music in the cockpit - that's all you can add to the Southerly 380.

Features

The long history of the Southerly 380 shows the important advantages of this yacht for travelling. Her draft with a folded keel of 0.8 m allows her to pass through the canals of Europe. This saves time and considerably expands the horizons of travel.

When the Southerly 380 hits the open sea, you'll need two tripods for quick change of sails and two rudder pens for more control.

Swimming area

Category A certified, the Southerly 380 is unlikely to be suitable for the open sea. For 10 years of the boat's use the rudder feathers have been found to be ineffective in case of a wave and the stocks on board need to be replenished. But all the coastal areas of Western Europe and the Mediterranean Sea are fully covered by this boat.
