Exterior and Interior Design
The design of the yacht was entrusted to Rob Humphreys. The interiors were created at the shipyard itself and turned out to be light and laconic. The interior features wear and tear resistant materials to help maintain maximum order on board.
Amenities on board
The main feature of the layout is probably the large galley, for a yacht of this size, which is made possible by its non-standard placement in a niche between the engine compartment and port side. The high superstructure with panoramic glazing allows you to keep watch without leaving the salon. The cabins are located aft and forward and have their own bathrooms, located, by the way, on different sides.

Discovery 42 has a central cockpit and is more popular in cold regions, where it is more comfortable to have a more secure wheelhouse. The yacht is easy to operate thanks to the time-tested and sea-proven double set of forward sails - large genoa and automatic staysail. The two rudder pens are responsible for the boat's course stability. A folding bathing platform aft is available as an option.
Swimming area
The yacht is designed for offshore voyages and has sufficient safety margin and good stability. Depending on the water area of the boat, the client can choose long (2.1m) or short false keel (1.8m).
