Feadship is set to open a new superyacht build and refit dock in Amsterdam. In this way Feadship will meet the growing demand for yachts over 100 metres in length.

The last mega-yacht of this size built by Feadship was the 101.5-metre Symphony that recently won the World Superyacht Awards.

A new, fourth Feadship facility is due to open in 2019. Yachts up to 160 metres in length can be built on the Feadship yard.

Located just 20 minutes from Schiphol Airport, the dock will be run by the same management team as the Caage production facility, with the 450 staff at the Caage facility moving between the two sites as necessary. In addition, 150 additional jobs will be available.

The new dock in Amsterdam will be Feadship's second dock capable of hosting yachts over 100 metres. The yard's largest superyachts are currently being built only in Makkum.

Construction of the new facility will begin in 2017. It will include a 5,500 square metre, 28 metre high construction dock, a dry dock and 10 workshops.
