Porto Montenegro marina, located in Tivat on the Bay of Kotor, has become the first port in history to be awarded Platinum status.

The Platinum certificate was established last year by the associations operating the Gold Anchor marina rating system of The Yacht Harbor Association and Marina Industries Association to determine the best marinas for superyachts. Porto Montenegro became the first and only marina to date to receive this certification.

The Association's representatives appreciated the high level of Porto Montenegro's services. Even the waste bins on the quays are air-conditioned to avoid odours.

A 24-hour concierge service is available to clients and a variety of entertainment options are available to crews.

Porto Montenegro Marina includes 460 berths for yachts up to 250 metres in length, 220 luxury apartments sold and more than 50 facilities including restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and the five-star Regent Hotel with more than 80 suites and apartments. In 2017, Porto Montenegro was awarded the prestigious Superyacht Marina of Distinction and the highest rating of five golden anchors by The Yacht Harbour Association for its first-class service and infrastructure.
