Leading Italian manufacturer of high-tech boats for the oil and gas industry, Rosetti Marino is entering the superyacht segment for the first time with its debut design of an 85-metre support vessel.

The concept was developed by the famous Italian designer Tommaso Spadolini and the naval architecture is the work of the designers who took care of the naval architecture. Rolls-Royce MarineThe naval architecture is the work of the designers who made sure the boat has good seakeeping ability even in rough weather.

A distinctive feature of the hull is that the main deck is 12.5 metres above the waterline to ensure that strong splashing from the sea will not spoil a comfortable journey on the yacht.

The yacht is available in two configurations, with a helipad in the center or aft.

Both configurations are rated for 2200GT and can accommodate large tenders on deck, however the version with helipad aft offers several practical advantages.

One of them is that a sailing yacht can be positioned at amidships without obstacles for helicopter take-off and landing.

Furthermore, with a minimal change in design, the spacious saloon at the rear of the boat can be converted into a hangar for the helicopter.

Four double cabins will be available for guests. For the Owner, there will be a full deck area with a private lounge and swimming pool.

There will be a massage room, a sauna, a huge beach club with a gym and folding platforms on both sides of the boat. The lower deck will have all technical and utility rooms, crew recreation areas, as well as a garage for 2 tenders and numerous water toys.

The Italian manufacturer has also turned to Rolls-Royce for the technical layout. Four MTU 16V 4000 engines coupled with a propulsion system will give the 85-metre yacht a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.

This vessel has already generated interest amongst potential clients, with whom the company is currently negotiating.

Rosetti Marino SpA, founded in 1925, is a world leader in the construction of commercial vessels from tugboats and oil platforms to passenger ferries. The company itself builds advanced propulsion, automation, navigation and control systems for its ships.

To break new ground, Rosetti Superyachts has created a division based in Monte Carlo to build luxury superyachts, support vessels and expedition boats from 40m to 150m. Rosetti Superyachts will be headed and partnered by Fulvio Dodic, a veteran yacht builder and former top manager Ferretti и Sanlorenzo.
