Slovenian shipyard, which produces yachts under the Greenline brand, is expanding its dealer network. New representative offices for the sale of «green» boats will appear in Hong Kong, Hungary, Germany and the USA.

«By the end of 2018, we plan to sign 10 new dealer agreements»," says Luca Meffle, head of sales and marketing at Greenline.

Just three years ago, the shipbuilder specializing in eco-friendly diesel-electric motors was declared bankrupt and its assets were put up for auction. The brand was bought by Russian Vladimir Zinchenko, who heads another Slovenian shipyard, SVP Yachts. Since then everything has changed for Greenline.

In the first two years since the change of ownership, the yard has produced over a hundred hulls and grown from 25 to 165 people.

Under Zinchenko, Greenline has expanded its lineup with three new models - the Greenline 36, the Greenline 39, and the current flagship, the Oceanclass 65, which has topped 50 feet in length for the first time in the brand's history. Now the yard has three more freshly launched projects, one of which will be ready for delivery in May.

In addition, seeking «technological development to strengthen its position in the water recreation industry», earlier this year Greenline became the first shipyard to accept bitcoins.
