Nord West brand became the property of Storebro

The Nord West brand is still going strong. This time it went to the Swedish shipyard Storebro. The yard announced about its acquisition on its website. The Scandinavians will continue to build yachts under the Nord West brand.

Nord West Shipyard has been building yachts since 1985, mainly flybridge boats from 27 to 56 feet. Recall that the boat builder's troubles began with the economic crisis. In February 2013, the yard declared bankruptcy. Along with it went down their subsidiary Najad Yachts, which had also been experiencing financial difficulties in recent years. In July 2013, both were bought out by Gill Holm Marina, whose founder vowed that he would spare no effort to run such respected brands. He got rid of Najad as early as October and now, as we can see, it is Nord West's turn.
