The Feadship shipyard has confirmed that 87-metre custom superyacht Lonian, accommodating 12 guests and 27 crew, has been delivered to her owner. This is according to Boat International.

Also known as Project 700 she was rolled out from her dock in Alsmer in the Netherlands in July and the first pictures of her sea trials surfaced in September.

Lonian is one of the most anticipated boats this year. Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design is responsible for her exterior styling.

She is very recognizable thanks to her navy blue hull, which Feadship calls «royal».

She has nothing in common with the yard's two previous projects - 74-meter Sherpa , which was launched at the end of April this year, and 93-meter Project 814.

Her interior was designed by Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design in collaboration with Richard Hallberg Interior Design of Los Angeles.

Very little information is available as to what is organised onboard the Lonian. The only certainty is the aft swimming pool and spacious swim platform. There is also a helipad and seven cabins: four spacious guest suites, two VIP suites and a master stateroom. «The Dutch claim they all comply with the highest standards».

Not much is known regarding technical attributes: the yacht has a cruising speed of 12 knots and the fuel tanks contain 160,000 litres of fuel.

The boat is equipped with stabilizers to eliminate rocking while anchoring.

According to some reports, Lonian, which is one of the world's top 100 largest superyachts (87thplace), cost $125 mln.
