In addition to the Classic range, Mondomarine is launching a new range of research yachts called Discovery. Work on her began in November last year - after the Savona-based shipyard Savona shipyard wasacquired by the Palumbo Group.
Mondomarine Discovery yachts are available in 40m, 50m, 57m and 75m sizes.
The designer Luca Dini designed the Discovery line combining characteristics of several classes.
The designer also designed the most famous Mondomarone 60 Meter Sarastar.
All four Discovery yachts, regardless of length, have large outdoor areas with recreational and sunbathing areas, as well as spacious and comfortable interiors.
«Thanks to the impressive expanse of panoramic glazing, natural sunlight permeates all corners of the yacht, but» is unlikely to want to sit inside four walls, especially since Discovery 57 has an enviable size beach club and two pools, one of which is housed on the flybridge.
There are two main deck layouts to choose from. The first layout features a full beam master suite, while the second layout also makes room for an additional VIP cabin to starboard, adjacent to the Owner's stateroom, which is slightly more modest than the first.
The four en-suite guest cabins for eight guests are located on the lower deck. This is also where the crew quarters are located, except for the captain whose cabin is located on the upper deck.
The Blue Petroleum shade of blue is applied to all Discovery yachts. According to Mondomarine, the hull colour «blends in perfectly with the colour of the sea».
The technical specifications of the Mondomarine Discovery range remain a mystery.
